Welcome to the new Mayan Era - very best wishes for 2013 and beyond!
This month's blog is a little random - past, present and future. Some are sketchy mind-maps done at the end of 2012 planing for the year(s) ahead. Some are cartoons, some are just photos and images of recent places and locations I encountered.
Wintery images include my recent visit with Carla to the Swiss village of Vals in the northeast of the country as to a handful images of Zürich. A juxtaposed videoclip of a drive by the sand dunes at Stockton NSW, Australia. It was filmed back in 2008 and recently edited by my sister Paulina.
The maps towards the end are photos taken at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice. Interesting enough they show the world in a sketchy format! ... and this is just a reminder that in the precise art of mapping and cartography one should start, even if there are too many unknowns. Thinking that one can predict the future with certainty is a fallacy but at least one can and should start even with with initial rough strokes you got a life time to refine them!
Saludos and best wishes for the year head... and beyond,
Zürich 1 January, 2013
