A house for Julia Gillard

Image
I recently came across a design competition to for ideas and design proposals for a new lodge for the australian prime minister. It is quite an interesting exercise to think about what might involve a new house for a head of a state. This call for ideas made me think and remember my very first house design.... and could not avoid going back to my first designed home as first year university student. What were the lesson then? Over the next month or so I will be thinking more seriously about my project entry to the competition. I will be searching into my own repertoire, the site context and the Australian history crystallise the new lodge for the Australian Prime Minister. Guillermo Aranda-Mena Guillermo Aranda-Mena © 2013
