June images depict the notion of boundary and in some case enclosure. 'According to our view', Schopenhauer writes in the third book of The World as Will and Representation (1819), 'the whole of the visible world is only the objectification, the mirror, the will, accompanying it to knowledge of itself, and indeed, as we shall soon see, to the possibility of its salvation'.
