My new shelf built with Tasmanian oak. I simply love it. No waste as the off-cuts were used to support the shelves. Made to measure and much of the design was inspired in no-pins (nor screws) assembly process. Japanese have practice this craft for centuries.... still my Japanese neighbour was very impressed with my design and end-product.  Guillermo Aranda-Mena©2019

Designed by Mies Van Der Rohe for the Barcelona World Expo held 1929. Interpretation by Guillermo Aranda-Mena - 90 years later. 90+ years later the Barcelona Chair can be seen in nearly every other corporate foyer.
