MIND MAPPING

... PAST - PRESENT - FUTURE Welcome to the new Mayan Era - very best wishes for 2013 and beyond! This month's blog is a little random - past, present and future. Some are sketchy mind-maps done at the end of 2012 planing for the year(s) ahead. Some are cartoons, some are just photos and images of recent places and locations I encountered. Wintery images include my recent visit with Carla to the Swiss village of Vals  in the northeast of the country as to a handful images of Zürich. A juxtaposed videoclip of a drive by the sand dunes at Stockton NSW, Australia. It was filmed back in 2008 and recently edited by my sister Paulina. The maps towards the end are photos taken at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice. Interesting enough they show the world in a sketchy format! ... and this is just a reminder that in the precise art of mapping and cartography one should start, even if there are too many unknowns. [de]CONSTRUCTING GAM

[de]CONSTRUCTING GAM is a brief and random visual reflection of things and objects which called my attention at some point my life. There is only a loose chronological order with no specific selection logic for the chosen images (nor is the object [ive] of this post) but rather a bunch of flashbacks. Perhaps some patterns emerge as orderly .... but that was pure chance! Deconstructing GAM includes disassembled toys, games or even images of parts of me and my past. No real particular reason but de-constricting GAM bit by bit. Mexico's puzzle is perhaps the only image that needs to be there - at the beginning - as it represents my initial coordinates on planet earth. Place were I was born and early years leading to my adolescence including México City (7 yrs), San Luis Potosí (3 yrs) and Guadalajara (12 yrs).
